Expert SL & HL coaching from an NUS BBA graduate with ACCA & CIMA qualifications. Build real business acumen, ace your exams, and stand out in university applications.
IB Business Management is one of the most versatile Group 3 subjects. It develops critical thinking, strategic analysis, and real-world commercial awareness — skills that universities and employers actively seek.
Whether you're aiming for a business degree, an economics programme, or any career where understanding how organisations work is an advantage, a strong IB Business Management grade makes a real difference.
Our tuition programme goes beyond textbook theory — we use real business case studies, exam-focused frameworks, and structured IA guidance to help you maximise your grade.
Every concept taught through authentic business scenarios — not abstract theory. Understand how real organisations make decisions.
Learn structured answer frameworks that consistently earn high marks in Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.
Guided support from topic selection through data collection to final submission — the IA is worth 20–25% of your grade.
Taught by an NUS BBA graduate with ACCA and CIMA qualifications and real experience in finance and consulting.
Both levels share core content. HL goes deeper with extension topics and an additional exam paper.
Business Management looks accessible — but scoring 6 or 7 requires precision, structure, and depth.
Students describe concepts instead of applying them to the case study with specific evidence.
Finance ratios, break-even analysis, and investment appraisal require confident number work.
Choosing a topic, collecting data, and writing 1,800 words within the criteria is harder than it sounds.
The pre-released case study requires strategic-level thinking — many HL students don't prepare adequately.
Structured teaching that turns Business Management from "common sense" into a 6 or 7.
Exam-ready answer structures for every question type — define, explain, analyse, evaluate.
Small groups mean every student gets attention, feedback, and the chance to discuss business concepts actively.
Learn through actual business cases — from startups to multinationals — making theory stick and answers richer.
From topic brainstorming to final draft review — step-by-step support for your research project.
Complete coverage of the IB Business Management syllabus — core units, HL extensions, IA, and Paper 3.
Business organisation, types of organisations, objectives, stakeholders, growth and evolution.
Organisational structure, leadership, motivation, HR planning, industrial relations.
Sources of finance, costs and revenues, break-even, final accounts, profitability and liquidity ratios.
Market research, the 4 Ps/7 Ps, market segmentation, positioning, international marketing.
Production methods, quality assurance, supply chain, location analysis, crisis management.
Research project on a real business issue — 1,800 words max. Worth 25% (SL) or 20% (HL) of your final grade.
Structured and extended response questions based on a pre-seen case study. Tests application and analysis.
Questions based on unseen stimulus material. Requires quantitative skills and evaluative writing.
Pre-released case study with strategic and evaluative questions. Requires deep analytical skills and wider reading.
Deeper coverage across all 5 units — including corporate strategy, investment appraisal, and comprehensive ratio analysis.
IB Business Studies rewards students who can apply theory to real companies under time pressure. Mr Paul's lessons are built around three pillars: concept clarity, case study technique, and structured exam writing. With 11 years of IB teaching and professional qualifications in ACCA and CIMA, Mr Paul brings a practitioner's perspective that goes beyond what any textbook provides.
Every concept is taught through real business examples — Tesla, Apple, local SMEs. Students learn to apply frameworks like SWOT, Ansoff Matrix, and the Business Cycle to companies they recognise, making abstract theory concrete and exam-ready.
IB Business Studies exams reward a specific writing structure — define, apply, analyse, evaluate. Mr Paul drills this structure until it becomes second nature, so students never lose easy marks on questions they understand conceptually.
HL students face additional content including HL-only topics across all five units, as well as a more demanding Paper 2 with extended response questions. Mr Paul provides dedicated HL sessions covering these extensions in full, with past paper practice under timed conditions.
"Mr Paul's case study approach is exactly what the IB examiners want. Scored a 7 in Business HL."
— ACS(I) Student 2024
"My daughter struggled with the evaluation essays but Mr Paul's frameworks changed everything. Got a 7."

"Best IB Business tutor in Singapore. The exam technique coaching alone is worth it."
