IB Math Tuition Singapore — AA & AI, HL & SL

IB Math AA (Analysis and Approaches) focuses on pure mathematics — algebra, calculus, proof, and abstract reasoning. It is best suited for students planning degrees in mathematics, physics, engineering, or economics. IB Math AI (Applications and Interpretation) focuses on real-world modelling, statistics, and technology-assisted mathematics. It suits students heading into social sciences, business, biology, or psychology. Both are offered at HL and SL.

IB Math HL is widely considered one of the hardest subjects in the IB Diploma. The syllabus is broad, the pace is fast, and Paper 3 (unique to HL) demands unseen problem-solving. With proper guidance, structured practice, and early exam technique training, a 6 or 7 is achievable — which is why 95%+ of our students reach this target.

Group lessons are $480 for 4 lessons (1.5 hours each). 1-to-1 tuition is $600 for 4 lessons, subject to tutor availability. Fees are prorated and there are no hidden charges.

Yes. We offer both online and in-person (at 5 Tank Road, Singapore) for all IB Math programmes. Online sessions use the same structured approach with full WhatsApp support and recorded lessons.

Our students come from ACS(I), SJI, SOTA, UWCSEA (Dover and East), OFS, HCIS, ACS International, SJI International, CIS, AIS, and Tanglin Trust. 100% of our SJI and ACS(I) students achieved 6 or 7 in their IB Math examinations.

Yes. IA support is included as part of our tuition programme. Our tutors guide students from topic selection through to final write-up, helping them understand the assessment criteria and avoid common mistakes.

Over 95% of our IB Math students score a 6 or 7. In the November 2024 IB examinations, 100% of our students from SJI (Singapore) and ACS(I) achieved a 6 or 7 in IB Math. Our tutors — Mr Ejaz, Mr Dee, and Mr Aliman — have collectively taught over 1,000 IB students across Singapore and internationally.

Paper 3 is unique to HL and tests extended problem-solving and investigation skills. We run monthly Paper 3 mock sessions from Year 1, exposing students to a wide range of investigation formats. Students learn to break unfamiliar problems into manageable steps, communicate their reasoning clearly, and manage time across multi-part questions. This consistent practice builds the confidence and resilience needed for exam day.

Ideally, students should begin IB Math tuition at the start of Year 1 — or even before, with our pre-IB bridging programme. Starting early allows time to build strong foundations, stay ahead of the school syllabus, and integrate IA preparation naturally. Students who join in Year 2 can still improve significantly, but earlier intervention gives the best results.
